Following our successful expansion into Stratford-upon-Avon where we have our fourth office, Thomson & Bancks is now looking to recruit across the firm and is ready to make opportunities for good fee earners and support staff who would like to join us in Cheltenham, Tewkesbury in Gloucestershire, Pershore in Worcestershire, or Stratford-upon-Avon in Warwickshire.

We are especially active in work including residential property, commercial property and business, private client (wills, trusts and administration of estates), personal injury and clinical negligence litigation. In Gloucestershire we are especially wishing to add good property lawyers, support staff in private client and litigation and a legal cashier at the current time. We are actively seeking to recruit further support for our private client team in Worcestershire.

Position: Receptionist / Administrator
Location: Pershore or Tewkesbury
Hours: Full or Part-time
Salary: Competitive (depending on experience)

Thomson & Bancks are a well-established and highly regarded regional law firm, with offices in Pershore, Tewkesbury, Cheltenham and Stratford-upon-Avon. We provide a full range of legal services to businesses and individuals and are currently seeking receptionist/administrators to join our busy team.

Key Requirements

  • An enthusiastic and willing team player
  • Possess strong organisational abilities
  • Have excellent communication and client care skills
  • IT Proficiency
  • Previous reception or administration experience would be an advantage
  • Flexibility to work in our other offices if required

Key Roles

  • Processing incoming calls and greeting visitors
  • Communicating with clients, both by telephone and face to face
  • Assist with IT queries
  • Order office supplies and keep inventory of stock
  • Various administration tasks to suit the firm’s daily requirements

Commercial Property Fee Earners

Position: Commercial Property Fee Earner
Salary: Competitive (depending on experience)
Location: Tewkesbury, Pershore or Cheltenham
Hours: Full Time or 4 days

Thomson & Bancks are a well-established and highly regarded regional law firm, with offices in Pershore, Tewkesbury, Cheltenham and Stratford-upon-Avon. We provide a full range of legal services to businesses and individuals and are currently looking for two fee earners to join our expanding Business Services department. We are likely to appoint one senior and one junior fee earner to these posts.

Key Requirements

  • An enthusiastic and willing team player
  • Possess strong organisational abilities
  • A client focused approach to complement our ethos; ‘You matter to us’
  • IT Proficiency
  • Previous commercial property experience essential

Key Roles

  • Working on a varied caseload including commercial property conveyancing, commercial leases (both landlord and tenant), commercial and residential development, option, promotion and overage agreements, agricultural land, auction sales, business sales
  • Applicants with other complimentary business law related experience would be particularly welcome
  • Communicating with clients, both by telephone and face to face
  • Drafting and negotiating documents
  • Use of case management and digital dictation systems
  • Business development and marketing
  • Ability to manage your own workload as well as working as part of a team
  • Occasional travel to the other offices to see clients or attend meetings
