Celebrating Angela’s 30 Year Work Anniversary

For those who are old enough, what were you doing 30 years ago today? Well for Partner of Thomson & Bancks, Angela Scott, it was her first day at T&B, or Gordon Bancks as it was then known. Angela’s first role with the firm was as a Solicitor in the Commercial Property team, she later decided to specialise in Private Client work.

Angela was offered partnership in 2001 becoming the first female Partner of Thomson & Bancks. Since then, Thomson & Bancks have not looked back; more than 50% of the Partners are now women.

As well as being a Partner of the firm, Angela also heads up the Private Client Team, which specialises in Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Probate, Trusts and Family law.

Angela’s 30^th work anniversary could not go uncelebrated, so fellow Partner Sarah Ingles, presented Angela with a gift to acknowledge her hard work and dedication, both to her clients and to the other Partners and staff at Thomson & Bancks.

Sarah said:

Angela’s success in business is a testament to her strong work ethic, she is a role model for all women in business and her dedication, support and tenacity is appreciated by clients and staff alike”.

When presented with her gift, Angela commented “Good grief, it only seems like yesterday!”
