Meet the team

Claire Liddy

I qualified as a Solicitor in 2023 and work within the Litigation, Family and Employment Law team at Thomson & Bancks.

I previously worked in Conveyancing for over 12 years but found a passion for advocating on behalf of others facing legal challenges during my legal training. I intend to use my detailed understanding of property law to offer well-rounded and practical legal advice to my clients.

I approach each case with a keen eye for detail, a strategic mindset and a dedication to achieving the best possible outcome for my clients. I pride myself on bringing a human element to the legal process and never lose sight of the fact that my work effects the daily lives of real people.

Outside of my legal career, I am a devoted parent, which has further enhanced my ability to understand and empathise with clients. Balancing the responsibilities of a legal career with parenthood has given me valuable insights into the challenges and concerns that many of my clients face daily.

Academically, I obtained a First Class Law Degree (LL.B) from the University of Wolverhampton in 2011. I then pursued a Masters in Law (LL.M) at the University of Law, in 2018, where I achieved a distinction. During my studies, I also juggled the responsibilities of being a parent and working full-time. This experience has equipped me with valuable time-management, multitasking and determination skills. It demonstrates my ability to handle complex challenges and thrive in demanding environments.

I am confident that my academic achievements, personal experiences and legal knowledge make me a valuable asset for those in need of legal assistance.
