Halloween Bake-Off 2018 Results are in!

November 5, 2018

Back by ‘spook-tacular’ demand, the Thomson & Bancks Halloween Bake Off returned for its fourth year, as we tasked our staff to reach for the flour once more to create the best Halloween cakes, all to raise money for T&B Cheltenham office’s charity of the year, Gloucestershire Young Carers.

Take a look at the entries in the gallery below.

From spooky little ghosts to Clarence the Clown, pumpkins hiding tasty sweets to giant spiders climbing blue webs, the entries for this year’s competition were even more varied than we’ve seen from past competitions- and that’s saying a lot!

Best of all, we were able to raise a ghoulish £70.00 for Gloucestershire Young Carers. The organisation is a local charity that provides a range of services for young carers who look after an ill or disabled family member and they do so much good work that we’re always happy to contribute what we can.

Winners Announced

Now for the all-important results and without further ado, the 3 Winners of this year’s Halloween Bake Off are… (Drumroll please).

In 3rd place, Trainee Legal Executive Karmun Phuah with the Cockroach Beetle. Karmun won the Bake in a Mug Brownie Set & flavoured Hot Chocolate spoon.

In at 2nd place – Legal Secretary Wendy Haskins with Aggy Pumpkin. Wendy goes home with a Christmas Pudding Chocolate Smash Cake Kit & a flavoured Hot Chocolate spoon.

And coming in at 1st – Thomson & Bancks Practice Manager Sam Hawkins with Clarence the Killer Clown! Sam was awarded the Gingerbread House Kit & flavoured Hot Chocolate spoon!
