Held and judged at Maggie’s Cheltenham Centre on Monday 31st October, the Thomson & Bancks Halloween Bake Off participants submitted their bakes for tasting before a panel of spookily subjective judges.
The winners shortlist included some blood-curdling creations that made even the bravest of us squirm. So, without further delay…
In 3rd place, Sam Hawkins with the Frankenstein & Pumpkin Cake – winning some chocolates and a bottle of Prosecco.
Just missing out on top spot and taking 2nd place, Gina Lessimore with her spider cake – winning a ‘Bake in the Mug Chocolate Brownie’ set and a bottle of Prosecco.
But the one that horrified judges the most, and in 1st place was Sophie Hinks with the brain cake – winning a ‘Make Your Own Fudge’ kit, chocolates and a bottle of Prosecco.
The event was enjoyed by all and managed to raise £121.74 for Maggie’s Cheltenham Centre who were the perfect hosts to our annual Halloween Bake Off Competition.
Below you can find a few photos from the day.
Until next year, Happy Haunting ghouls.
