Following a break last year, for obvious reasons, the Thomson & Bancks Halloween Bake Off gloriously returned this year, and the team did not disappoint with their fang-tastic efforts.
This time raising money for Sunflowers Suicide Support, the staff of T&B presented 9 delicious bakes to their colleagues for them to enjoy for donations. All staff then had the opportunity to vote for their favourite purely based on appearance as, fortunately for our waistlines, we cannot try all of the cakes as we are spread across four offices in three counties! Before we announce the winners, we are delighted to be able to present Sunflowers Suicide Support with a donation of £94.00 raised by the staff at Thomson & Bancks for their contributions for slices of the cakes.
Sunflowers Suicide Support is a charity created in memory of Pete Morris by his family and offers support to those who are bereaved by suicide in Gloucestershire. If you would like to learn more about what they do or need support, please visit their website sunflowerssuicidesupport.org.uk
3rd prize goes to assistant Wendy Haskins for her Bat ‘n’ burg cake.
Wendy takes home a hot chocolate melt and glass mug.
In 2nd place winning marshmallow hot chocolate bombes and a glass mug with Evil Eyes is newly qualified solicitor Grace Fidlschuster.
And finally, 1st is Winnie the Witch baked by residential property solicitor Chantal Butters. Congratulations Chantal!
Chantal’s prize is a hot chocolate assortment with toppings and a glass mug.
Well done to everyone who took part and our worthy winners, and thank you to all the staff that donated and enjoyed the delicious bakes!
We are already looking forward to next year’s event, but until then stay safe and well.
