I joined Thomson & Bancks in 2017 as a paralegal in the Residential Property Department, having just graduated with a degree in LLB Law from the University of Liverpool.
I am now a Trainee Solicitor in the Business Law Department, my first placement seat. Whilst I mainly deal with work related to the Business Law Department, I also deal with the majority of voluntary first registrations of residential properties due to my property knowledge. Recently, I have also taken on the role of assisting with small claim debt collection for clients.
Whilst undertaking my training contract here, I am studying the Legal Practice Course and Masters in Law part-time at the University of Law in Birmingham.
As a new edition to the world of practising law, I understand how daunting the legalise of solicitors can be and I always try to communicate in straight forward English!
Outside of work I am kept busy by my Legal Practice Course and Masters however I like to keep active and enjoy playing badminton, riding and walking my dogs.
