My areas of work centre around employment and business law. The County Court cases I have handled over the past 25+ years have been many and varied, with a broad range of property, business, agricultural and commercial disputes.
My advocacy experience has ranged across civil & family law, criminal prosecution and defence. In particular, I conduct cases in the Employment Tribunal for employers and employees. I am a member of the Employment Lawyers Association.
I act in business sales and purchases. I am often asked to draft company, partnership and commercial agreements and to advise employment and business clients who wish to avoid disputes and difficulties.
I graduated with an Honours Degree in Law from University of Wales (U.W.I.S.T.) in Cardiff in 1983 and after being Articled to a firm in Lincoln I was admitted as a Solicitor in 1986.
I joined the firm in 1990 and became a partner in 1994.I have recently served as Director of a neighbourhood Charity and have taken my turn in the Chair for a variety of organisations and committees such as the Pershore Chamber of Trade and as a School Governor.
I am also a clarinet player and a trustee of the Roses Theatre in Tewkesbury. I use my clarinet skills during the Pershore Plum Festival as the “Pershore Plum Charmer”, you can see the Thomson & Bancks news articles to learn more about my charming!
