Thomson & Bancks were proud to support the Three Counties Bike Ride 2016, organised by LINC with fellow support from Creed Food Services on 12th June.
There were two possible routes to choose from, both starting from Tewkesbury Rugby Club: a 64km route passing through the picturesque Eastnor, Upton upon Severn and Tewkesbury and the shorter route of 32km directed participants through Bushley and Bushley Green to Upton on Severn where the two routes joined back together.
LINC, The Leukaemia and Intensive Chemotherapy Fund is an important local healthcare charity that works to improve the care of cancer patients in Gloucestershire, Herefordshire and south Worcestershire. LINC provide financial and psychological support for people receiving intensive chemotherapy in the three counties cancer centre in Cheltenham as well as their families and loved ones.
Thomson & Bancks employees, John Stagg, Louise Thompson and Sophie Hinks took part in the ride, completing the event and raising £166 for LINC. A great day was had by all and luckily for us, someone managed to get a snap of the team with their medals post-event.
