Thomson & Bancks Solicitors are pleased to announce that they have joined the Women’s Business Club, which is focused on connecting, supporting and empowering businesswomen through a national network of business lunches and mastermind groups.
Business Lunches are friendly business networking clubs where you can build genuine, authentic relationships over a healthy lunch, and our Head of Medical Negligence, Lucy Sherry has been attending these successful events with her colleagues, Sally McFadden, Head of Commercial Property, and Emma Cottell, Conveyancer, since October 2016.
Lucy confirms “I have been a regular attender of the Cheltenham branch of the networking lunch meetings of the Women’s Business Club since last October and have found the quality of the speakers to be excellent. Angela De Souza is a networking guru and being a Cheltenham resident, we often also gain the benefit of her expertise, so get 2 for the price of 1! I was so impressed with the Maximise Conference concept that I arranged for my firm, Thomson & Bancks Solicitors, Cheltenham, to be the sponsor of the Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award at last year’s annual event. It was attended by South West WBC members and businesses, as well as the Mayor of Cheltenham and I took the opportunity to network even further, gaining invaluable business contacts in the social media world, in particular.”
You can get involved at a club near you – you’ll be amazed at how much fun can be had growing businesses together; a problem share is a problem halved and their members are so supportive of each other and happy to share their top tips! Book a Business Lunch or Mastermind Boardroom event over at the Women’s Business Club website and keep an eye out for Thomson & Bancks’ legal articles in their seasonal magazine, Maximise.
