Triple winner of Best Tourism Event and Festival Award, Pershore Plum Festival takes on a month-long schedule this year with events and activities that will see the town of Pershore turn purple!
Thomson & Bancks will be attending the festival throughout the month with Partner, Paul Johnson acting for the fourth year running as Pershore Plum Charmer.
Before the busiest day in Pershore’s calendar and the August Bank Holiday Weekend come to a close, you can enjoy Plum Coach Tours and the South Midlands Plum Bike Nite. Taking place throughout various Pershore locations, these fun-filled events leading up to the various Fayre Day activities are not to be missed.
Celebrate Pershore’s rich plum history on either of the remaining coach tour dates (20th and 27th August) or join South Midlands Bike Nite on the 27th for a spectacular show where all bikers, moped, motorbike, scooter and chopper riders are encouraged to attend.
The Bank Holiday Weekend and the final ‘Fayre Day’ on Monday 31st August have activities for all to enjoy; The largest area of the Fayre Day is the Abbey Park, hosting multiple activities and attractions, including the Classic Cars show, Danters’ Fun Fair, Food Village and Inside Pershore Abbey where the Teddy Parachute Drop amongst other activities will take place.
Located in Broad Street, the award winning Sketts Farmers Market will be open all Bank Holiday Weekend, meeting all of your culinary needs and providing entertainment and live music. The Big Plum which takes place at the Angel Inn Hotel between 29th and 31st August will host more live music and entertainment as well as Beer and Cider marquees.
