Thomson & Bancks participating in Tour de Law to raise money for Breast Cancer Now

Thomson & Bancks Solicitors is excited to announce its participation in the 2024 Tour de Law, an exhilarating two-day cycling challenge that invites law firms and chambers to compete for the top spot, all in the name of raising crucial funds for breast cancer research and support.

Organised by charity Breast Cancer Now, this annual event is not just a race for glory, but a powerful way to make a difference in the lives of individuals affected by this devastating disease.

Pedalling our way to victory

The Tour de Law is simple in concept but powerful in impact. Over the course of two days – 9^th and 10^th October – teams will push themselves to the limit, pedalling as many kilometres as possible on stationary WattBikes provided by Breast Cancer Now.

With just two bikes and one goal, the Thomson & Bancks team is ready to give it their all. They will be clocking up kilometres right from the Pershore office, competing against other firms for the coveted title of Tour de Law champions, and we invite anyone to pop in and cheer us on!

Cycling for a cause

Every kilometre cycled by Thomson & Bancks contributes to life-changing breast cancer research and support services. The funds raised through the event help provide both immediate support for patients and families affected by breast cancer, as well as long-term solutions through vital research.

For example, £150 can ensure that five individuals receive essential answers from a breast cancer nurse via a free helpline. Meanwhile, £1,000 can fund four full days of groundbreaking research, which brings us closer to better diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of breast cancer.
