Thomson & Bancks were proud to sponsor and participate in The 3 Counties Cycle Ride, organised by Linc and celebrating its seventh year. As popular as ever, the event attracted lots of local interest and participation, raising £7,300 to date.
The Leukaemia and Intensive Chemotherapy fund is an important healthcare charity working to improve the care of cancer patients in Gloucestershire, Herefordshire and south Worcestershire.
Starting at Tewkesbury Rugby Club, participants were invited to choose between two picturesque routes through Gloucestershire, Herefordshire and Worcestershire. The longer of the two, a 64km route passed through Eastnor, Upton upon Severn and Tewkesbury. The shorter 32km route met up with the 64km participants at Upton upon Severn, after passing through Bushley and Bushley Green.
A beautiful and sunny day concluded back at the Rugby Club where everyone enjoyed celebratory photographs, drinks and a barbeque.
The Thomson & Bancks team, who raised £290 through Linc fundraising and participated in the ride are pictured above.
