Thomson & Bancks Legal Executive and Resolution Accredited Specialist Family Lawyer, Chrys Wall is currently training, along with her sister Zena, calling themselves “The Walking Wall Sisters” for a charity walk from London to Brighton.
Chrys and Zena are looking for sponsorship before the Challenge takes place over the May Bank Holiday weekend (28th/29th) where they will walk an initial 34 miles from Richmond to their overnight stop at Turners Hill near Croydon. They will finish the walk on Sunday, a good 27 miles to Brighton Racecourse, serving as their finish line.
The Walking Wall Sisters will take in road walks, bridleways and footpaths over the South Downs throughout the 60 mile challenge. Chrys and Zena will be walking for Winston’s Wish.
Established in 1992 and based locally in Cheltenham, Winston’s Wish is the leading childhood bereavement charity in the UK where every day, more than 100 children are bereaved of a parent.
Thomson & Bancks have raised money for Winston’s Wish previously and Zena works at The Grange Nursing Home in Tewkesbury where Winston’s Wish is one of their supported charities.
Chrys and Zena, supporting this local charity by setting themselves an individual challenge to raise money and awareness is admirable dedication and they need as much support as possible which would go a long way in pushing them to the finish line and assisting a good cause. Dig deep in to your pockets, sponsor, donate and wish The Walking Wall Sisters good luck.
Visitors to Thomson & Bancks will find charity boxes at all branches and you can get sponsorship forms by contacting Chrys directly or can donate via Zena’s just giving page.
